Sahla was one of our cornerstone SE Seattle FreedomNet citizen journalists, starting with the inaugural PhotoVoice project on community education assets, and continuing for several years to cover community festivals, candidate forums, school events, and the Rainier Beach Touchstone project through photos, videos, and stories. Her collected work ably represents both the vitality of the Rainier Beach neighborhood and her enthusiasm in being a part of it.
